Decant is designed to stay out of your way. Install it, open a page — or a whole research session — and keep the useful part.

1. 01

   Install the extension

   Grab it from theChrome Web StoreorFirefox Add-ons— or build it from the open-source repository. Pin it to your toolbar for easy access.

2. 02

   Open something worth keeping

   Visit an article, guide, recipe, paper, or documentation page. Decant works on the page you are already reading — or slap Alt+Shift+A to batch-clip every open tab into a research ZIP.

3. 03

   Decant it into Markdown

   Review the extracted content, then send the note to Obsidian, Logseq, Bear, NotePlan, or Drafts — or download it as Markdown, HTML, Word, or JSON.
